"I most certainly agree; and I would be delighted to join you, friend," replied Julius, smiling pleasantly. He rose, dawning his hood once again, and bowed, gesturing to the door. "Shall we?" he asked casually.

With a swish Vassili walks into the pub bearing a large bag on his back full of miscellaneous goods. He slides over the corner of the pub, orders a glass of vodka then puts a sign up saying "Items for sale." He glares at the other people at the pub not with a welcoming look, but an eye contact of a salesman saying "come over here."

(To all here please take note to remember details Doajda All though i am aware you meant the same pub as me you should inform others of this and also recall that people have just recently ran out of the pub after an explosion and the bar should not have returned to normal so soon, because of this you created a time lapse which can cause trouble to others as we will not preform actions that should have happened in that time) Bai suddenly gets up as he realizes people returned to the pub he quickly asks for 10 of their strongest drink. Then slams his then becomes suddenly disappointed "damn it not strong enough" (Sorry don't have time to finish will complete post later)

"I have everything from weapons to jewels and replacement limbs my friends" Vassili quickly retorts in a thick Russian accent "all within reasonable price, I have amazing trinkets, toys, and of course, weapons of your choice, weapons ranging from repeating crossbows to bladed yo-yos. I have a few greek blades if they interest you. If you are not looking for weapons, I also have a large selection of plush dolls. If you are not here to buy, well, I will take things off your hands if they interest me."

"Okay, one metal replacement limb and one stock repeating crossbow. Now, in what currency will you like to make you purchase? The Doan is strong lately."

Dear lord, this thread is going to the dogs... why is no one reading the intro? YOUR CHARACTER IS BORN IN THE LABYRINTH; PERIOD! No Russia, no Greece, only the Labyrinth. And don't even get me started on the Hitler mustache and the flaming Lamborghini...
Z: you were the first to violate the rules, and now EVERYONE is following suit. I was content to ignore yours at first, but now I'm beginning to reconsider. The problem here is that it's not my thread and Book's apathy is boundless.

Remember that the hilter mustache and flaming lambo were Patrick's kid brother's idea. Also from the rage rant I will go change that my character was not born in the labyrinth.....after all the time I took making up a story.

Seeing as I do not believe anyone has ever set up a Random Role play I thought I would revive this one that I originally started on City of If. So here it goes... Story and Plot:A great and majestic door stood in the mountains next to a tiny village in the greater surrounding area known as Lanthern. This was not something the villagers had build or were proud of in any sense, in fact they were mainly confused... for this door had not been there the day before. Why a door had decided to appear in the mountains next to the village no one could say, but it had, and so being the sentient beings as they were, the Lantherians did the inevitable, they investigated. First the older elite went to investigate as was their apparent right, but soon the peasantry and little children were all milling about in front of the door wondering what to do. The intricacies of the wood work and gold encrusted mosaics swirling across it's surfaces had quite an effect on the simple villagers who could never have conceived such creations. They seemed to tell of a library (something unknown to the peasants) or grandeur and never-ending knowledge. Though to the avid observer, of which the peasants most certainly were not, there was a touch of sinisterness and foreboding... a darkness hidden within the beautiful mosaics. At one point one of the bravest and most curious of the group, a dangerous combination indeed, approached the door and gave it a light push. He almost stumbled forward, because the door swung open as if it was pulling him in. All the villagers seemed to suddenly focus their attention on the door and in silent agreement they slowly entered an new world together, unaware that they would never leave it... As these clueless villagers viewed in dumbstruck awe a massive vault leading off into the distance with shelf upon shelf of books. There were mountains made of book shelves, hills, plains, and all sorts of odd varying shapes! There was a great wall in the distance with many diffrent specks dotting it, presumably entryways. In all likelihood leading to another equally big vault with yet more books! There was light coming from millions of diffrent sources on the ceiling (very high above them) as well as diffrent places along the shelves. The sources of light ranged from candles to light-bulbs (another thing that baffled the villagers) to yet more even odder things. It took a long time for this to all soak into the group of villagers, but when it did they were ready to go back to there simple and comforting lives, so they turned to go, only to find there was no longer any door, nothing at all. Imagine this story repeated many times over, through many worlds and dimensions and you understand how the Labyrinth Library was populated... but all of this happened quite a long time ago and doesn't really concern us. Since then no others have entered the library and diffrent classes have developed within those who found themselves there. Though there were many species that entered the Library, they have since separated contributing to a completly diverse population (it should be noted that all were humanoid in nature, with varying eye, skin, hair... and so on). since then not no on will ever enter again .SINCE as in noe one has entered since that time up to now, in which case we all posted after this which makes are entry's after the period of no arrival therefore we can enter

*slaps head*
OK, I am going to address these things, and if they ever come up again, LL is going away.
1. I did make it sort of clear that I did not want people to come from anywhere but the library. Everyone seemed to edit this out of their memories, however, so I made some exceptions. Elysium has brought this to the for-front, so I will tell you all now, all of your characters must come from inside the library.
2. I will deal with all problems that occur here personally. If you have a problem CONTACT ME. I do not want to see any more comments in LL itself not pertaining to LL. If you want to correct someone or want clarification, do not post it here!
3. I retain the right to deny characters, this will only be done if absolutely necessary.
I have been lenient in the past and I will be lenient in the future , just don't push it.
If someone responds to this on this thread so help me god...

Waren looked at Julius curiously and then shrugged and turned toward the door. After pushing through the oncoming people the door appeared, Waren began to head towards it.

Waren continues toward the door... he's almost there... just a few more steps...
((There is no particular reason I'm doing this besides to bring peoples attention back to LL and see what they do before I do anything of interest, and also of course because I'm lazy.

It's slow progress, but finally Waren reaches the door and slips out into the street. The explosion seemed to have caused quite a commotion amongst the people nearby the shop, but Waren knew it would disperse quickly. He did not like people that much, but crowds had no effect on him. To be in a crowd was almost the same as being alone! It was also mentally stimulating to feel and attempt to grasp the emotions controlling and flowing through the crowd. As Waren walked he would glance back occasionally to see if the other man was still following him. For a while the streets remained just crowded enough to keep him from catching up. This gave Waren some time to contemplate more before he had to focus his energies on keeping this other pleased by acknowledging him. Finally, however, Julius caught up.

Julius spotted someone in the crowd. He quickly looked away, and began to think.
"This isn't good," Julius thought to himself, "I've stayed here far too long..."
He decided it was necessary to warn the philosopher. A part of Julius wished he knew the man's name, but a larger part reminded him never to ask. A man who introduces himself is far different from the man who does not, and in order to study this man he must not force a change. Julius had learned to respect secrecy, even if it usually originated with forgetfulness.
"What does a man truly have other than his mind?" he would think. "The identity of which is represented by the name."
His own name was not his own, but a newly forged seal; a door he had built himself out of memories. He could not help but feel he had betrayed his own craftsmanship by giving it so quickly.
Returning to the moment, he strode forward to the man, swimming fluidly through the crowd, his robe billowing out behind him and echoing his chosen path. He reached out to the man and put his hand upon his shoulder.
He then whispered to him, "We need to move quickly. I apologize for bothering you, but wherever out destination may be, we must take an alternate route."
The man seemed slightly confused, so Julius nodded toward the crowd, "Look through the crowd; at my four o'clock is a man wearing a black robe and a satchel."
The philosopher briefly stole a glimpse in that direction, and indicated that he had seen the man.
"This man has come to kill me for past transgressions. I will say no more, but know that he will not harm you. I offer you the choice to come with me into the alley to the left, or to continue about your day as you intended. I have information that may be intriguing to you, but it will put your life at risk. I implore you to choose quickly friend, as I have not much time."
Behind them the black robed man moved closer to where Julius and the man were standing, but still did not see them.

((*chuckles* I will quite enjoy this...)
Waren blinked hard and looked at the man who had so rudely interrupted the flow of his day and blinked again. Had he really just heard what he thought he had just heard! Either the man was delusional or he was telling the truth, putting a bit of thought into it Waren concluded that both were equally plausible. "What a day..." he thought to himself.
And so it was that Waren stood there with Julius, on the precipice of adventure, posed to launch his life into a flurry of excitement and intrigue. With this change in the world around him would come a change within him, a greater understanding of the library, and possibly for the first time in his life: a friend. Waren stood on this precipice, faced Julius with the power to release those fateful words that could change everything and said "None of my business" and walked away.
Who wanted to stand that close to the edge anyway, if he wanted to see what was over the precipice he would just find a map!
As he walked away with a slightly quicker the normal pace from Julius he wondered what would happen to the man. He had not liked him, but that certainly did not mean that he wanted him dead. He decided that he would devote some time later to puzzle over the strange encounter and the events of the day. For now it was late and he no longer wished to read, so he went in search of a hotel.
What he found was a small establishment on the west side of town with cheap fare but surprisingly soft beds. He settled down to sleep, giving himself to the dream world
