As part of a greater strategy the forces stationed in Doran exaggerated their numbers. This was enough to convince the powers that be in Ark that the general offensive towards taking back Cerebril would be a joint Elysian-Imperial force coming from the east.

1. A very large offensive is launched consisting of 125,000 heads toward Doran from the capital. This force consisted mainly of recently drafted peasants.

2. Elysian and Imperial Cerebrilian forces covertly move against the large republican forces (It only shows as Elysian on the map... technical error). Multiple covert strikes are made to thin the ranks of the enemy, it is also incredibly helpful to lower the moral of the republican forces as being peasants they hold superstitious views of the land they are traversing through. Reports of mass defection come through as the army approaches Doran.

3. and 4. About 25,000 elite soldiers (Elysian captains and Cerebrilian EPSMOT) move against the republican forces, hoping to pin them in the valley of the sentinels.

The Battle of the Sentinels:

The republican army arrives with limited forces, estimated to be 50,000, less then half the initial count. It is also clear that their moral has been broken from the countless attacks well traveling through such dreaded territory. The joint Elysian - Imperial forces successfully aggregate their numbers once again, sending the opposing forces into panic and retreat. They then proceed to flood the valley by breaking the dam, being located on higher ground themselves. The first victory of the war has been seized, now it is time to take the offensive.

1. Olspher prepares for the main and last assault on the rebel held capital of Cerebril: Ark, 150,000 soldiers already mobilized are sent towards the swamp located in western Cerebril. Supplies not already possessed for the crossing by Olspher are brought by imperial forces. It is also noteworthy that Emperor Severus I travels with the Olspherian forces, planing to participate in the battle in one way or another.

2. A small contingency of about 5000 imperial soldiers from the nearby friendly region of Malkhavia are sent to assist the Olspherian forces. Accompanying them are three armored companies as well as three experimental tanks known only as "Earth" "Fire" and "Wind". The Dies Irae, a massive artillery piece, that the emperor plans to operate himself during the battle also came with them.

3. and 4. The joint Imperial - Olspher forces move steadily towards Ark, expecting the last battle to take place somewhere in the Western Pale before they manage to reach Ark.

5. At the very last second the Peoples Republic of Cerebril sends a force of about 140,000 towards the approaching invading Imperial - Olspher army. These forces are mostly drafted peasants as the last one, but appear to be slightly more trained with a larger professional mercenary base.


The Battle of the Western Pale
Unlike the first battle of the war, The Battle of the Sentinels is fought on a flat open plane, with both sides equal enough in numbers and moral to stand and fight in one major battle. The joint Olspher - Imperial forces have the advantage of numbers, artillery, and experience, however, this does not rule out the possibility of large losses. The enemy is desperate after all.

The battle opens with both sides not entirly ready to open fire, until the OC (Olspher - Cerebril) forces engage their artillery with the massive Dies Irae at it's head. At this point the battle begins, with the moral crushing boom of artillery on the side of the OC forces. After an estimated 15 hours of fighting the republican forces begin to withdraw. It is later found that this is an order given in direct contradiction from the top, and likely came from a fed up rouge general. After all it would have been strategically sensible to retreat to Ark, one of the best defended cities on Terriya. The order is given to late however, the retreat is made under the fire of the artillery as well as the massive experimental tanks. The remainder of the republican forces are rounded up and handed over to the emperors judgment and the "acting Cerebrilian government". Now all that remains is Ark... whether or not it will have to be taken by force remains unknown...

The Siege of Ark
As the war comes to a close the city of Ark still remains steadfastly under the control of the false government. After a military mind tank and about a week of besieging the city a plan is formulated. At the insistence of Olspher, a plan to turn of the people of Ark against their leaders is put into action. Using the recently fishing Olspherian Phantom Project* thousands of propaganda posters and messages are dropped into Ark every day for weeks on end. As well as food and supplies for the citizens. Finally there is news that uprisings are beginning to start all around Ark. About three days later Nicholas surrendered and was retrieved by imperial forces unharmed. Exactly what will happen to him is not known at present. The Olpherian/Cerebrilain army marched into Ark triumphant to the great thrill of the crowds, a mingling of cultures that will not soon be forgotten in the ages to come...

The war has ended... let us rejoice!
