Cerebril
A man ran the border from Cerebril to Elysium today, when he was caught, he had disturbing news. It was later confirmed by telegraph strangely enough, that Former Archduke Nicholas of Cerebril, which for those of you that dont know, Nicholas was the elder son of Uriel VI, who was exiled after displaying heretical tendencies and breaking his oaths of his office, a crime normally punished by execution. He returned to Ark with an Army that may have been taken from the recent Canopian Magistry. Archduke Severus and Kragar Tesla, are strangely missing however, and possibly may have escaped in the underground escape railroad. More info when we can get it.
Note: This RP has been moved to the War Room because it is militant in nature.

Transmitted via radio relay at o'100 hours: Hello people of Terriya. This is Emperor Severus I of Cerebril speaking. I am speaking to say that I am in fact alive and well. In three days time I will appear in a friendly territory to discuss how to stop my brother. Any of you that hold the illusion that he holds promise and progress for Cerebril is sadly mistaken. He is a silver-tongued demon that I am shamed to be related to, but I never thought he would do something like this. Kill his friends and mentors, even his own father just to get revenge. But hold no illusion, he intends to silence all free though and make the people of Cerebril into husks without thought or conscience, and then, he will come after you. Anyone that must contact me before three days can, at 375khz at six hour intervals from now. Thank you, and the Lord be with you all.

Official statement made by Neil Taltos:
Though Olspher is still wary as to which side to take in this Cerebrilian war the Wisdom Council has come to the conclusion that the old Monarchy is pure and more stable. The country's Merrican Supramando (translates into something like "only master goverment" and means to Olspherians, the perfect goverment of a country for a certain period of time) if you will. As a result of this Olspher will be be glad to house the Emperor and help him set up a goverment-in-exile within Olspher. We will further send troops into Cerebril as soon as three days from now to pull down the false goverment of Nicholas. Though we hope to gain conformation for these actions by the accepted leader of Cerebril, Severus I.
Official statement made by John Curran, Military Spokesperson:
The Charles Commel plan has met our highest hopes and is running smoothly as we speak. Olspher is mobilizing a strong well trained army in record time with minimal financial losses! Though of course there have been miner problems as there always will be and some extra time is being taken to re-train those in the ONR that were not keeping up on their programs. Besides this the plan seems to be going well and a quick powerful attack on Cerebril should bring good results.

....(static)...Voice: 375 hz and... your on. Emperor Severus I: Hello people of Terriya. I personally thank you all for your pledges of assistance. I will answer you all now. To Niel Taltos and Olspher, we are happy to accept your troops and offers of hospitality. In strained times it is nice to know our closest allies stay true to us. To the Slade Islands Tribal Confederacy, we also accept your offers. Your help is also much appreciated. To the Ka'Tet Tribe, we offer your Pharaoh Kesh Ra'Amenaha Dukedom of Erhadir and your people full rights and privileges as citizens of the Empire. To The new Imperial Trade Federation, we grant you your request for future government backing and corporation rights in exchange for your funding. To the Art and Architecture Clan and United Mining Guilds we also accept your funding in exchange for future government backing. And finally to any Monarchist and Christian forces still operating in Cerebril or Erhadir, we thank you for your support. On behalf of the Cerebrilian Government I appreciate that you risk your lives and well-being in protecting the Empire. May God's Grace rain upon you all.

Elysium
<<secured_transmission<< This is Simon Loyale speaking; my Council has decided the following in accordance with the wishes of our people: Your brother's cause is true; but the means by which he seeks to achieve his goals are not only insolent, but dishonorable. Your ancestor's monarchy was not without its flaws, but it was true and honest, and deserves it's place in the world. Your brother's establishment can never become greater than the sick means by which it was created. Elysium is with you, Septimus. Transferring communication to the MG. <<transmission frequency_altered_*static*_<< Julius Steel communicating; we are prepping elite ground forces. We aim to make tactical strikes at vulnerable targets. You give us info and we'll give you your country back. Julius out. <<end_transmission

Olspher
*Neil Taltos sits in his office with obvious agitation trying to read and rest his mind but unable to. This was the first time Taltos has mobilized an army under his administration and he was partial to the Old king Septimus IIs belief in his quote "A standing army is standing trouble". He wants to act as soon as possible, but can not see anything good coming of and preemptive strike without the consent and knowledge of this nations true ruler. Something must be done... and soon*

We would like to know what acts of heresy and what oaths your brother broke before any action is taken by our military.

Note: This is an ongoing conversation that is being written by Cerebril and Olspher. It would be appreciated if other nations do not butt in to much until it is completed...
Neil Taltos (Chancellor of Olspher), Murkan Burk (Minister of War in Olspher), and Jeff Coulter (Prime Minister of Olspher) sit in Neil Taltos’s office on a table set aside for personal meetings, at the moment cluttered with maps of all types depicting the nation of Cerebril.
There is a silence around the table as the three powerful men sat with thoughtful expressions. Murkan lifted his head “I have nothing else to say, my approach is a direct one, it would be futile for me to go on saying the same thing here all day”. “I know my friend” stated Neil Taltos “I’m only hoping that we may come to a compromise, as I have found doing so often improves any situation of disagreement”. Murkan took on a firm expression “Solidity in everything” he stated simply “I understand my chosen path, and I shall jump to no others”. Neil Taltos nodded, being reminded once again why Murkan held the position he did. “Our decisions should be in conjunction with the true leader of Cerebril anyways!” Said Murkan, “Emperor Severus’s opinion will be vital to the final plan. Why is he not here?” Neil shifted in his seat “I did send him a formal invitation to join us, his reasons for not being here are his own and should be respected, he did only arrive here the other day, and the last few days were certainly not a walk in the park I imagine.”
The large carved mahogany door to the office swings open to reveal Emperor Severus I of Cerebril, and Kragar Tesla.
Neil Taltos adopted an expression of the slightest annoyance as there was no warning to the entrance, but he reasoned the Emperor must be a bit on end. He stood and gave the slightest bow, respecting Cerebrilian culture, but also showing the Emperor (whom he had never formally met) that he considered them on equal ground as leading figures of their respective nations.
There was a brief silence and then the Emperor spoke...

"Hello esteemed Chancellor of Olspher." Said the Emperor. "I hope you do not mind my aide Lord Tesla joining us."

Neil looks at Tesla and nodes greeting
Neil Taltos: "He is more then welcome, come make yourselves comfortable at the table here. It is good that you have come as we are currently in a bit of standstill concerning basic strategy in approaching the rebellion in Cerebril."
Everyone sits at the dark square table and makes their greetings, the Emperor and Neil settle on opposite ends.
Murkan Burk: "Maybe the Emperor wishes to outline his ideas on how to approach the problem, and otherwise clue us in on any information not yet known to us?"
(Cerebril, try and use the same style as I have started using here)

((Cerebril, I know that we are working on this outside this thread, but maybe we want to finish up this little chat so we can post the war plan? I have been waiting for your response for quite some time))

Yes. Now normally any attempted coup would be put down by Cerebrilian citizens, since they are normally extremely loyal. A year before these events however, a proposal to allow certain religions other than Sanguinism(our national religion) to be allowed to our people. It seems Nicholas had capitalized on these ideas in order to take power. We still have most territories loyal to me, but some have supported Nicholas in order to obtain religious freedom.

Neil Taltos: Hmmmmm... this is not information we were previously privy to... but I can certainly see how it could be used to our advantage. However at this moment it is more fundamental in drawing up and enacting a specific battle strategy toward confronting the armed forces our enemy has obtained. I do believe that a basic outline has been drawn up, to finalize it would be useful in solving this conflict sooner.
((This may be a good time to post the proceeds of the war... if I could just make heads or tails of your map!))

((Though I certainly do not want to restrict the flow of creativity applied to this site... some things are better discussed in advance before being posted, this is one of those things. I can certainly see an unexpected arrival (though I certainly would not prefer one)... but the spontaneous killing of two guards? This is happening in Olspher after all, so it would sort of have to be explained how exactly you got past security into the chancellors office... Anyway I really want to wrap this war up, it's been going on for much to long...
P.S. Did you come from Terriya? Or maybe StumbleUpon? Well... if you could change your name to whatever your nation is, and then register that nation before continuing to RP that would be great. Thanks.))
