Note: This is not to big a deal right now, it's just a linear storyline that can be commented on, but it will transform slowly over time.
*Newscaster comes on screen*
Now to talk about growing worry in Olspher, as it would seem this worry stems from more then just the losses in the war and the recent actions of our Chancellor. It would appear as if dissent has been growing for quite some time, ever since the very start of troubles in Cerebril. Neil Taltos is experiencing record drops in approval ratings, going from 70% or so to right above 40% almost overnight. This of course did not happen for no reason, it was his most recent and infamous decision not to go forward with Talanti* that sealed the deal. It seems his recent steps towards preserving the environment have backfired, with many people claiming he cares more about the land he stands on rather then the country and people themselves. Neil Taltos has not yet responded to these criticisms and it's thought that...
*The name of a tourism project, a recreation of the mythical Olspherian city of Talanti somewhere in the northern forests. It would be a money making scheme composed many of hotels. It was supposed to be a huge success, and it was stated that there would lead to major tax cuts.

**Please not that Olspher is currently in a very bad recension, this was brought on by a failing Commel plan that wasted the economy when troops were removed for action. I can not incorporate this now as I need to do this fast in lue of recent events abroad. It will be referenced often.**
Discontent continues to rear it's ugly head all over the nation as open protest erupted in the more politically unstable Quintin. The House of the people was refused directly the right to remove Taltos from office. People all over the nation have been thrown into a mood of open and indiscreet action! What started as simple malcontent brought on by war and imminent recession has now emerged as something much larger as people discover just how little political power they hold after elections. This, however, is simply a catalyst for action, and more importantly, someone who can bring on that action.
For this the people have been turning to a man by the name of Benedict Alan, a nascent politician with great oral power. Many are wary of him, but all except his passion in belief demands a forthcoming respect. Indeed, his conviction seems to be inspiring thousands more every day, and many think that he may go far with this growing following...

There is no question that everyone in the nation now knows the name of Benedict Alan, the man who has been shaking up old politics for the last three months or so. He has become so popular with his simple arguments and powerful voice that some romantics have even called for the ancient vote that put the famous first Philosopher King "Quintin the Brilliant" into power. Of course no such thing is likely to happen as the political landscape today tends to lean against such things. What's interesting, however, is that Benedict seems to be goading on this romantic vision rather then condemning it like so many expected. It seems to be making the more moderate side of the Olspherian electors wary of him.
In other news the economy continues to plummet, and out once loved chancellor seems to be doing nothing about it...

The time is 4:00, the typical bad news is spewing out of T.V.s in store windows and in homes, people go about their business indifferently.
Sand storms in Talem rage on, it's said that over half of the forces Neil Taltos has sent in aid have gone missing.
The economy hangs by a thin thread, soon to be cut by Taltos to save a wildlife preserve near Quintin!
Benadict Alan praised by new plan of action to recall all troops back into Olspher and unite us as a nation once more, his attempts of support in the House of Wisdom go unheard.
Riots have broke out across the countryside expanding out of the two major cities of Quintin and Krateít.
As the news went on, there suddenly popped up on the many screens in the nation a new face, the face of a somber reporter, the face of bad news. He was on the old emergency broadcast channel, a project undertaken many years ago but never used... until now. He waited a few moments, as if personally waiting for the many faces paying no attention to him all over Olspher, and then he began. Indeed, many did notice him in those few moments, but if they hadn't they noticed him then, they noticed him now, his expression, voice, the very feeling that he made up was one to powerful to ignore.
Today at 9:00 p.m. the international dig site excavating newly discovered ruins in Elysium, of which many of our esteemed scholars were assisting, was attacked. At first it seemed as if the situation way one of organization and driven by want of money. Now all such assumptions are understood to be false. Of our people there are no survivors, all have been slaughtered with no purpose, but that of twisted hate. The culprit of this act is an organization known as "The Pact". The Elysium government was aware of their presence, and dismissed it. All the while the reporters face stayed the same, always the same, the face of bad news.
After receiving this news our esteemed chancellor, now reported to have been in a poor condition for some days has died from heart failure. At this point it seemed the entire mood of the nation was shifting, a monster not present in Olspher for hundreds of years turned in it's sleep. The acting government has declared Jeff Coulter, current Prime Minister as the temporary Chancellor until everything is sorted out-
It was at this point that the broadcast was drown out, in the street people shouted "What right do they have!" and "tyranny, it's bloody tyranny!". A rock was thrown, a window smashed, a fire was started, people were trampled: the monster had awoken, and atop it rode a new master, a dark specter.
It was at 7:00 that the march began, it started in the large town of Ontiar, outside of Quintin. The crowd had been growing ever since the broadcast and the town was in complete turmoil. Hate speech after speech, calls for revolution, shouts of "kill them all!". No one knew where the suggestion came from, maybe it was more a force then suggestion, an order from a force greater then themselves, but soon all around the idea of the march had imprinted itself unto the mind of the protesters.
"Yes! Let's do something, let's teach them a lesson!"
"They won't know what hit them, they think they can do this to OUR nation, let them think again!"
"Bring the force of the people to their front door!"
With that the sector, the monster-tamer was there, beside them, goading, encouraging, pushing them forward. It was 10:00 when they reached the heart of Quintin and their numbers had swelled tenfold. The crowd was one being, one...thing, it's tamer still goading it, still pushing it. With no mind, only emotion, no control but that on uncontrol, it lashed out. The stubborn leaders of the old Olspher were woken from their sleep, at first there was not fear, they would speak to their people, re-assure them, comfort them, then the blood began to flow, the never-ending blood.
No one in the crowd had meant to do what they did, they simply wanted to scare their leaders, they were angry. It could have only been the quite whispering the the monster-tamer that could have done it, that inexorable power... all reaching. So it was at 12:01, the start of a new day, that the old leaders lay dead, blood pulps upon the streets of Quintin, and the Benedict Alan came to rule the nation.
