It was a cold and chill night, the wind seeming to sneak through the trees, as if trying desperately not to disturb the perfect silence. Suddenly the sound of crunching of boots filled the air and then voices. "They must have gone this way!" one yelled "Over here!" another shouted. As the search party emerged from the trees, seeming awkward in this foreign landscape, they fanned out to look for footprints. One of them exclaimed "Look I fou-" and then immediately cut off. "What!" said the man next to him, the other man slowly turned around "These footprints... there... there not human".

The looming figure slowly materialized out of the darkness....
